Chroncile Movie Review.

Chronicle is awesome.
It is, in essence, the polar opposite of #4. The main cast are sympathetic and likeable, the superpowers are front and center, the trailer is actually honest about what's going down in the movie, and Andrew doesn't take shit from anybody.
Let's begin the review!
First, our cast.

Andrew Detmer.

Our main character, he is the most developed out of the three.

Richard Detmer

The primary 'villain' of the film, he is Andrew's cowardly abusive father.

Matt

Andrew's cousin and the primary hero of the film.

Steve Montgomery

The best friend and a great guy.

Alright, with the intro's out of the way, lets get this party started!
So the movie starts off with Andrew setting up his camera. Yes, this is a found footage movie, of sorts, but is very original and how they work it in is nothing short of genius. Andrew is interrupted by his drunken a-hole of a dad banging on the door and yelling at Andrew to get ready for school. Andrew yells back that his dad is drunk already and it's not even noon yet. Heading downstairs, Andrew checks in on his mother. She is sick with cancer. Yeah, along with living with an abusive dad, he has to deal with this. Andrew's life sucks. We meet Andrew when Andrew heads outside. It is here that we first meet Matt, Andrew's cousin, who gives him rides to school. We also learn that Matt is a great singer.
